Toilet Clogged?

If your toilet clogs during normal use, locate a plunger and use this to pump the clog through the pipe. Be sure to only flush your toilet one time, or you may cause the water to overflow the basin.

Other Drain Clogs

If your sink or bathtub clogs, you can often use a plunger to move the blockage. Be careful not to use chemicals to clean the pipes—these could cause irreparable damage to the system.

If you lose electrical power in your property, you should first contact your utility provider. Temporary outages may occur during bad weather or if lines in your neighborhood have been impacted by construction.

Still having problems?

If you overload your home's electrical circuit, you may trip the breaker. Locate your circuit breaker and make sure it's in the ON position. If necessary, reset the breaker.

Be sure to identify what caused the breaker to trip to avoid future dangerous situations.

If you don't have access to hot water, check the settings on your heating tank. Verify that the settings are accurate.

If possible, try to cycle the system. Be sure to wait 15 to 20 minutes before testing the water temperature again.
